After a long time of not being here at all I've decided to come back with one of the the things that I love the most. Weddings.

What a weekend! After celebrating my birthday on Friday and then spending my first saturday night at my new apartment and baking cakes until 4 am...on Sunday we kept ourselves busy with Laura.
We wanted to make a super cute cake for my family and friends, they were all coming on Sunday night for the final celebration of my 25th anniversary!

Que fin de semana! Despues de celebrar mi cumpleanos el viernes y pasar mi primera noche de sabado en mi apartamento nuevo y cocinar tortas hasta las 4 am, el domingo nos mantuvimos ocupadas con Laura.
Queriamos armar una torta super linda para familiares y amigos que vendrian a casa el domingo a la noche para festejar por ultima vez mi aniversario numero 25!

My cooking and table set up for Laura.

Hey there! After a couple of days of relaxing and doing nothing at all Im back. Today I wanted to share with you what I cooked and prepared for my friend's birthday! Cooking consisted of caramel apples, apple cinnamon cupcakes and a vanilla cake with whipped cream!
The table set up was really simple. We used some vintage platters and serving dishes. Penneant flags from and adorable store near by my house, as a tablecloth I used a small crochet blanket and last but not least some xmas lights. Hope you like it!

Hola! Despues de unos dias de relax y hacer nada en absoluto volvi! Hoy queria compartir con uds las cositas que cocine y prepare para el cumple de mi amiga Laura. La cocina consistio en: manzanas acarameladas, cupcakes de manzana y canela y una torta de vainilla con dulce de leche y crema batida!
El set de la mesa fue bastante sencillo. Usamos algunos platos y bandejas vintage. Banderines que encontre en una tiendita adorable cerca de casa, y como mantel usamos una mantita de crochet de la misma tienda. Por ultimo pero no menos importante unas lucecitas de navidad! Espero que les guste!

All about cakes.

I know it's sunday and I usually don't blog during the weekend, but in this case I have too. I have a birthday coming, my friend's birthday. Her name is Laura she's beautiful and creative girl.
She will be hosting a small and simple backyard party at her adorable house. She's gonna have a barbecue and drinks for friends and I told her that I was gonna bake the cake and maybe something else.
I started looking for cakes at my fav website Oncewed and as usual I found some adorable pictures! Let me show you a couple of them.
I also wanted to tell you that Im gonna start blogging in english and spanish as well. A couple of friends asked me to. Hope no one minds! :)

Se que es Domingo, y usualmente no uso mi blog durante los fines de semana, pero en este caso tengo que hacerlo. Se acerca un cumpleanos, el cumpleanos de una amiga. Su nombre es Laura, una chica hermosa y super creativa.
Para esta fecha estara ofreciendo una pequena fiesta en el jardin de su adorable casa. Habra parrilla y tragos para amigos. Me ofreci para preparar su torta y alguna que otra cosa dulce.
Empece a buscar tortas en mi sitio preferido Oncewed, y como siempre encontre algunas fotos hermosas. Les voy a mostrar algunas de ellas.
De ahora en mas, a pedido de algunos amigos voy a subir mis entradas al blog en espanol e ingles al mismo tiempo. Espero que a nadie le moleste! :)

For some reason the cakes in this picture make me think about the sea...navy cakes? I love the vintage look!

Por algun motivo las tortas de esta foto me recuerdan al oceano...tortas de la marina? Me encanta el look vintage que tienen!



This is the perfect example of a simple set up and yet adorable! Maybe I could come up with something like that!

Este es el ejemplo perfecto de una mesa simple y aun asi hermosa! Quien sabe podria preparar algo asi!

Happy Spring Day!

Hey there! Spring is here!
In Argentina we are receiving spring and that only means that we have to celebrate. The streets are crowded with students and people that goes out to enjoy the day!
My plan for the day is to have a little quiet picnic somewhere nice, taking lots of pictures and doing some special cooking. Tomorrow I will wake up really early to bake the cakes I uploaded on my last post, some chocolate chunk cookies, caramel apples with popcorn and small sandwiches.

Amazing cake...so festive!



My choice for tomorrow...



Don't forget to wear a hat, feel the love in the air , breathe in deep and let it our slow. Enjoy a nice meal and glass of wine with friends and feel happy, spring is finally here!

Cakes to die for.

Awesome cake idea! I love the simplicity and colors of the cakes. Will have fun during the week baking and trying to make one!



The DIY decor is really simple too and looks great! To make this garland you simply cut up small squares of your favorite colored fabrics, then take a needle and string the squares on one by one.



Instead of having just one cake, why not have a few! vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, the possibilities are endless!
