From White to Purple (a floor story)

Gone...I know. For a long time. I just wanted to share something Im feeling. Im super happy. I feel cute, beautiful. I fell silly, but silly in a good way. I cant stop thinking about him.



But on the other hand. Im scared. I just like him so much. He's almost perfect, he just turned a white floor into a purple one.

Deconstructed like me.

After a long time, im back. I found a great cake idea on my fav website Oncewed.
A cake, that happens to be a little like me nowadays, deconstructed. Some parts of it are colorful ,some of it not so much. A mix of everything. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Cake Obsessed

What a weekend! After celebrating my birthday on Friday and then spending my first saturday night at my new apartment and baking cakes until 4 am...on Sunday we kept ourselves busy with Laura.
We wanted to make a super cute cake for my family and friends, they were all coming on Sunday night for the final celebration of my 25th anniversary!

Hey there!
I haven't been around, i know...but I have some really exciting news! I was busy working and organizing a new project with my friend Laura. We are starting our own Baking biz!
We worked on our website concept, ideas for cupcakes and cakes and yesterday we were getting ready for our first social event! So exciting! We spend almost 8 hours cooking non stop! The result was an adorable cake to die for, almost 30 chocolate with chocolate chips cupcakes and gingerbread cookies!
We don't have the pictures we took yet but will keep you updated!

Se que no estuve muy atenta al blog, pero tengo noticias super emocionantes! Me mantuve ocupada con mi amiga Laura armando un nuevo proyecto, nuestro propio negocio de pasteleria!

My cooking and table set up for Laura.

Hey there! After a couple of days of relaxing and doing nothing at all Im back. Today I wanted to share with you what I cooked and prepared for my friend's birthday! Cooking consisted of caramel apples, apple cinnamon cupcakes and a vanilla cake with whipped cream!
The table set up was really simple. We used some vintage platters and serving dishes. Penneant flags from and adorable store near by my house, as a tablecloth I used a small crochet blanket and last but not least some xmas lights. Hope you like it!

Hola! Despues de unos dias de relax y hacer nada en absoluto volvi! Hoy queria compartir con uds las cositas que cocine y prepare para el cumple de mi amiga Laura. La cocina consistio en: manzanas acarameladas, cupcakes de manzana y canela y una torta de vainilla con dulce de leche y crema batida!
El set de la mesa fue bastante sencillo. Usamos algunos platos y bandejas vintage. Banderines que encontre en una tiendita adorable cerca de casa, y como mantel usamos una mantita de crochet de la misma tienda. Por ultimo pero no menos importante unas lucecitas de navidad! Espero que les guste!

Cakes to die for.

Awesome cake idea! I love the simplicity and colors of the cakes. Will have fun during the week baking and trying to make one!



The DIY decor is really simple too and looks great! To make this garland you simply cut up small squares of your favorite colored fabrics, then take a needle and string the squares on one by one.



Instead of having just one cake, why not have a few! vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, the possibilities are endless!

Circus Wedding

I've been obsessing over weddings the last couple of days and I love this one! So different to what we are used to here in Argentina, wich is the typical traditional setup. It totally inspired me!

Great contrast of beautiful countryside greens and the red balloon!



Their ceremony seems so simple and yet elegant in a romantic way. I have to say that I adore the huge balloon theme they used! I would totally want to have that for my wedding too!



Wow! This is so cute unique and innovative. Looks like so much fun and visually stunningly!



The decor of the wedding as I said before feels so simple and yet adorable, elegant and special! Im totally in love with the lighting concept!

Today I want everything!

Im gonna post a little about decor and also a little about my crochet. I couldn't decide on one topic or the other.



I just find this space adorable, so simple and still stunning . I could really use something like that on my new apartment! I need to find a way to show off all my magazines and books.



Now...about my crochet. Let me tell you that I had lots of fun buying wools and choosing their colors, making them match , but I'm having a hard time doing crochet! Not as easy as everyone says. Gueess I should practice until it gets better.

Wanting to learn crochet!

I've been wanting to learn crochet for a long time now. Most of the ladies in my family do it in such a stunning way!
One of my crochet-related dreams is to be able to create a beautiful blanket, It requieres a lot of time and dedication but the result is a great piece to decorate a sofa or any corner of the house.

After leaving my current job I might have the time to start learning and maybe one day I'll have my own adorable crochet blanket.
